Chat Preview
Need an Android text conversation on screen for a video, a story, a lesson or a design mock-up, without typing it on a real phone?
The fake Android text message generator draws a conversation the way Google Messages, the messaging app of most Android phones, shows it: the top bar with the contact's picture and name and the call buttons, the grey bubbles of the other side and your blue ones grouped as the app groups them, the contact's picture beside their messages, the day and time between messages, "Delivered" and "Read" under your last message, photos, and the composer with its "RCS message" or "Text message" box. Choose light or dark, write the messages, then download a picture or record the chat as a video.
It is made for fun, creative work and demonstrations, and is not related to Google or Google Messages. Use it responsibly: never to impersonate someone, deceive people or mislead anyone.
1. Set up the phone. In Display Settings choose light or dark mode and set the status bar: clock, network, signal, battery.
2. Set up the conversation. In the Chat tab, choose a one-to-one or a group conversation, RCS or SMS, and add the contact's picture and name, or the group's members.
3. Write the messages. In the Messages tab, add texts, photos and days, from you or from the other side, with their times and your messages' status; edit, move or remove them in the list.
4. Download or record. Check the Preview, then download the conversation as a PNG, JPG or WEBP picture, or record it as a video in which the messages are typed and arrive one by one.
The contact — picture (a photo, a letter or the default) and name or phone number
Group conversations — the group's name, its members with their pictures and names
The messages — text with emoji and links, photos and days, from you or anyone in the conversation
Time and status — each message's time, and Sending, Sent, Delivered or Read under your last message
RCS or SMS — the chat features of RCS or a plain text message
The look — light or dark, the whole status bar, the composer shown or hidden, the font and the text size
Save This Chat keeps the conversation, its pictures included, in your browser, so you can come back and change it later; Save Setting keeps your theme and status bar as a preset for the next one. Premium accounts also keep them in their account.
Google Messages, the default messaging app on most Android phones: its top bar, its grey and blue bubbles, the contact's picture beside their messages and its composer.
