Threads Preview
Make a Threads feed exactly the way you picture it: one post or several, with text, mentions, hashtags and links, photos or a video, topic tags, replies connected into a thread, and the likes, replies, reposts and shares under each post, on an Android phone or an iPhone, in light or dark mode.
Everything you make is a mockup for creative, educational and presentation use. Please do not use it to mislead, impersonate or harm anyone.
FakeDetail's Fake Threads Post Generator draws a realistic Threads feed in your browser, from your own pictures and text. Nothing is posted anywhere and no Threads or Instagram account is used: it only makes a picture or a video of posts, for designs, storyboards, tutorials, social media plans and fun.
It is not connected with Meta, Threads or Instagram.
Open the Fake Threads Post Generator and follow these steps.
1. Display Settings. Choose Android or iPhone, light or dark mode, the For you or Following feed, the Threads top bar, the "What's new?" row and the bottom navigation, and set the phone's status bar: clock, network, SIMs, battery and icons.
2. Feed. Add the posts your feed shows, put them in order, and click one to edit it.
3. Text. Write the post with @mentions, #hashtags, links and emoji (up to 500 characters, as on Threads), add a topic tag, and set when it was posted.
4. Media. Add up to ten photos, shown one by one or side by side as Threads shows them, or mark the first as a video with its length.
5. Profile. Set the author's picture, username and verified badge, show the follow button on the picture, connect a post to the next one as a thread, and pick your own picture for the "What's new?" row.
6. Engagement and download. Type the likes, replies, reposts and shares, mark the post liked or reposted, save your feed to come back to it later, download it as a PNG, JPG or WEBP image, or record it scrolling as a video.
Threads writes the time as "14m", "2h" or "3d", then the date, and large counts the short way (1.2K, 3.4M). A post holds up to 500 characters; a longer story is a thread of posts, connected by a line between the pictures.
Your feeds are kept in this browser, and in your account when you are signed in with a plan, so you can open and change them again at any time.
Choose Android or iPhone and light or dark mode in Display Settings, write the post in the Post tab, set the author's picture, username and verified badge in the Profile tab, and download the picture of the feed.
