Need an X direct-message conversation on screen for a video, a story, a lesson or a design mock-up, without typing it on a real phone?
The fake X chat generator draws a chat the way the X app shows it today: the top bar with the person's picture, name and verified badge (or a group's members and its call), the grey and blue rounded bubbles, the picture beside the last message of a run, members' names in a group, "Seen" under your last seen message, photos, videos and posts shared into the chat, the day in the middle, and the composer at the bottom. Pick an iPhone or an Android phone, dark or light, write the messages, then download a picture or record the chat as a video.
It is made for fun, creative work and demonstrations, and is not related to X or X Corp. Use it responsibly: never to impersonate someone, deceive people or mislead anyone.
1. Pick the phone. Choose Android or iPhone and dark or light mode in Display Settings, and set the status bar: clock, network, signal, battery.
2. Set up the chat. In the Chat tab, choose a one-to-one or a group chat, add the picture, name, @username and badge, or the group's members.
3. Write the messages. In the Messages tab, add texts, photos, videos, shared posts and days, from you or from the other side, and mark what was seen; edit, move or remove them in the list.
4. Download or record. Check the Preview, then download the chat as a PNG, JPG or WEBP picture, or record it as a video in which the messages arrive one by one.

Save This Chat keeps the conversation, its pictures included, in your browser, so you can come back and change it later; Save Setting keeps your phone, theme and status bar as a preset for the next one. Premium accounts also keep them in their account.
Yes. Each message is from you or from the other person (in a group chat, from any of its members), so you can build the whole conversation.
Yes. Choose Group in the Chat tab, add the members with their names and pictures, and set the member count the top bar shows.
Yes. A message can be a text, a photo, a video or a post shared into the chat with its author, badge, text and picture, and a day can be shown between messages.
Yes. Mark your messages as seen and "Seen" shows under the last of them, as in the X app.
No. It creates a downloadable picture or video mockup and does not send or publish real X messages.
