Fake Instagram Post Generator

FakeDetail's Fake Instagram Post Generator draws a realistic Instagram post in your browser, from your own pictures and text. Nothing is posted anywhere and no Instagram account is used: it only makes a picture of a post, for designs, storyboards, tutorials, social media plans and fun.

It is not connected with Instagram or Meta.

Open the Fake Instagram Post Generator and follow these steps.

• 1. Display Settings. Choose Android or iPhone, light or dark mode, the post's menu icon, the app's top bar and bottom navigation, and set the phone's status bar: clock, network, SIMs, battery and icons.

• 2. Photos. Add one photo or several for a carousel, pick its shape (square, portrait or landscape) and show the photo counter, the dots, a video's sound icon or the tagged-people icon.

• 3. Caption. Write the caption with @mentions, #hashtags and emoji, cut it after one or two lines with "… more", and set when it was posted.

• 4. Likes & counts. Show the counts beside the icons, as Instagram does now, or as a likes line, add "Liked by …", and mark the post as liked or saved.

• 5. Profile. Set the author's picture, username, verified badge, story ring and Follow button, and the line under the username: audio, location, Made with Edits, Original audio or your own words.

• 6. Comments and download. Add up to two comments under the post, save your post to come back to it later, and download it as a PNG, JPG or WEBP image.

Instagram writes counts the short way above ten thousand (12.4K, 1.2M) and the date as "2 hours ago", "3 days ago" or "20 September". A portrait photo (4:5) fills the most of the screen. A carousel opens on its first photo with "1/5" in the corner and blue dots under it.

Your posts are kept in this browser, and in your account when you are signed in with a plan, so you can open and change them again at any time.
