Notifications Preview
The Fake Snapchat Notifications Generator makes realistic Snapchat notifications on a phone's lock screen, right in your browser. Pick an iPhone or an Android phone, add the notifications you need — a Snap with a Streak, a Chat, "is typing...", a call, a friend request, a Story reply — and see them exactly where the phone shows them: under the big clock, newest first, with your friend's Bitmoji or photo and Snapchat's yellow ghost on its corner.
Download the screen as a picture, or record it as a video in which the notifications arrive one by one, as they do on a real phone. Nothing is sent to anyone and no Snapchat account is needed: it is a notification template and mockup for fun, videos, design work and lessons.
1. Pick the phone. In Display Settings, choose iPhone or Android and turn on Dark Mode for dark notifications. Set the status bar — battery, signal, Wi-Fi — and the screen size.
2. Add notifications. In the Notifications tab, choose a kind and press Add. The newest goes to the top of the list, as on the phone; drag a notification to move it.
3. Write each one. Type your friend's name and emoji, add their Bitmoji or a photo, set how many minutes ago it came, and keep Snapchat's own words or write your own. Turn on the Streak 🔥 or Time Sensitive.
4. Set the lock screen. In the Lock Screen tab, set the clock and the date, choose a wallpaper or upload your own, and pick the Lock Screen or the Notification Centre (the notification shade on Android).
5. Download or record. Download HD Image saves a PNG, JPG or WEBP picture; Screen Recording saves a video of the notifications arriving.
Each kind starts with the words Snapchat itself writes after the name, which you can keep or change:
Snaps — "sent you a Snap" with the red square of a photo Snap or the purple square of a video Snap, and "• 🔥" when you have a Streak.
Chats and typing — "sent you a Chat" and the famous "is typing..." notification.
Calls — an audio call, a video call or a missed call.
Friends — a friend request, an accepted request, a Story reply, a Story mention, a reaction or a screenshot.
Streaks and groups — a Streak reminder, or a group Snap with the group's name and who sent it.
Custom — any text you like, in the same Snapchat notification.
Each phone shows Snapchat's notifications its own way, and the generator follows both. On an iPhone, each notification is a rounded card with the picture on the left, TIME SENSITIVE above the name, the time on the right ("now", "2m ago") and the Snap's coloured square; turn on Stack to pile them up, newest on top, as the iPhone's Stack display does. On Android, the notifications form one rounded column under the clock, each with the name, " • 2m" and an expand button; turn on Stack to put them all in one Snapchat group. Both phones have a light and a dark look, and the iPhone's padlock, flashlight and camera buttons or Android's lock and shortcuts sit where the phone has them.
Screen Recording plays the notifications the way a locked phone receives them: the screen lights up, then each notification drops in at the top — the oldest first, the newest last — while the ones already there make room. On a Stack it lands on the pile; on Android it joins the Snapchat group. The video ends on your finished screen. Choose the quality, the format (MP4 where your browser can record it) and the pace; the video has no sound, so add a notification sound in your video editor.
Videos and skits — the "is typing..." moment, a Streak about to end or a friend request from someone unexpected, in a TikTok, Reel or YouTube video.
Stories told in screenshots — show what a character's phone received in a fan fiction or AU story.
App and design mockups — show a notification in a presentation, a pitch or a design, without a phone.
Lessons — show how easily a lock screen screenshot can be made up, and why a screenshot alone proves nothing.
Show the conversation behind the notification with the Fake Snapchat Chat Generator or the Fake Snapchat Group Chat Generator, and the inbox with the Fake Snapchat Chat List. A call notification goes with the Fake Snapchat Call Screen Generator, and a Story reply with the Fake Snapchat Story Generator.
Use made-up names or your own, or ask before using someone's name or picture. Never show a made-up notification as proof of what someone sent, and never use it to trick someone into opening a link or giving a password. The generator sends nothing and touches no Snapchat account. Snapchat is a trademark of Snap Inc.; this tool is not made, endorsed or supported by Snap Inc.
Save keeps the whole screen — every notification, picture, the clock and the wallpaper — in your browser, so you can come back and change it later; Save Setting keeps your phone, status bar and screen size as a preset for the next one. Premium accounts also keep them in their account.
Yes. You make, preview and download your Snapchat notifications in your browser, with no app to install and no Snapchat account.
No. Nothing is sent and nothing connects to Snapchat: the generator only makes a picture or a video of a phone's lock screen. Nobody receives a notification.
A photo or video Snap (with its red or purple square), a Chat, typing, an audio or video call, a missed call, a friend request, an accepted request, a Story reply or mention, a reaction, a screenshot, a Streak reminder, a group Snap, or any text of your own. Up to 12 on one screen.
Yes. Switch between iPhone and Android in Display Settings: each phone draws the notifications, the clock, the date and the bottom buttons its own way, in light or Dark Mode.
Yes. Type any emoji after your friend's name, and turn on Streak to add the dot and the fire emoji after the words, as Snapchat does.
Yes. Upload a Bitmoji (a PNG keeps its see-through background) or a photo for each notification; Snapchat's yellow ghost icon sits on its corner. Without a picture the phone shows the name's initials.
Yes. Turn on Stack in the Lock Screen tab: an iPhone piles them up with the newest on top, and Android puts them all in one Snapchat group.
Yes. Screen Recording makes a video of the lock screen lighting up and each notification dropping in, one after another, and ends on your finished screen. It downloads as an MP4 where your browser supports it, or as a WebM.
No. Snapchat is a trademark of Snap Inc., and this generator is not made, endorsed or supported by Snap Inc. Use it for fun, videos and mockups, never to deceive anyone.
