Fake Tumblr Post Generator

A fake Tumblr post generator makes a picture of a Tumblr post that was never published. FakeDetail's works in your browser from your own text and pictures: nothing is posted, and no Tumblr account is needed or used. It is a quick way to make a Tumblr post template for a design, a storyboard, a class, a social media plan or a meme.

It is not connected with Tumblr or Automattic.

• 1. Choose the phone. In Display Settings pick iPhone or Android, light or dark mode, the dashboard tab (For you, Following or Your tags), and set the status bar: the clock, the network, the signal and the battery.

• 2. Set the blog. In the Blog tab upload the blog's picture, round or square, type its name (letters, numbers and dashes, as Tumblr's blog names) and the time under it, such as "4m ago", and show or hide the Follow button.

• 3. Write the post. Add a title, the text (each line is its own paragraph, links are underlined) and the tags, separated by commas.

• 4. Add photos. Upload up to ten photos. They fill the post's width at their own shape, one under the other, or two or three side by side in a row.

• 5. Set the notes. Type the notes count, written the way Tumblr writes it (3229 shows as "3,229 notes"), and show the post as liked or reblogged.

• 6. Download or record. Download the screen as a PNG, JPG or WEBP image, or record a video of the dashboard scrolling post by post. Save your dashboard to open it again later.

• Photo posts. One picture, or a photoset of up to ten in rows of one, two or three, with a caption and tags.

• Text posts. A title and paragraphs, the classic Tumblr text post for memes and screenshots of conversations you write yourself.

• A whole dashboard. Up to 20 posts from different blogs, each with its own picture, notes and tags, dragged into the order you want.

• A scrolling video. Screen Recording scrolls the dashboard as a person scrolls the app: Tumblr's top bar slides away, each post stops at the top, and the compose button stays over the feed.

Tumblr shows the time under the blog's name in words ("4m ago", "2h ago"), writes the notes in full with commas, and puts tags in grey under the post. Lower-case blog names with dashes, a square or round picture and a mix of photo and text posts make a dashboard look like a real one.
